Counseling Orientation
The following are the treatment/counseling approaches we are good at. We hope to provide multi-faceted services to understand the complexity of people.
Physical Experience Trauma Therapy (SE)
It is a mind-body therapy that specializes in treating various types of trauma and somatic symptoms by helping people focus their attention on their bodies. It uses a gradual and body-respecting non-conversational approach to help people reconnect with their body and emotions to heal trauma.
Gestalt
Promote "self-awareness" and self-acceptance, adjustment and choice, so that people can be more aware of the deadlocks in their lives (such as money, career, emotions, trauma and health) and improve the quality of life. Therefore, the role of the therapist is to actively intervene and guide the process, and to help the client explore himself through the creation of an atmosphere to become a complete individual.
Psychological motivation
Focus on the subconscious or unconscious workings. Explore your current problems, the processes behind them, and the connections between present and past experiences to see and understand them. In the process, by exploring and expressing repressed or unconscious emotions, individuals can experience emotional release and gain a new perspective on their own experiences.
Children's play therapy
Play therapy creates a safe and supportive environment where children can freely explore their emotions and learn healthy ways of communicating and expressing themselves, enhancing their social skills and emotional expression. Our psychologists will also work closely with parents or caregivers to develop a personalized treatment plan for the child's specific needs and goals.
EFCT
If you and your partner are in relationship trouble, have lost emotional connection, or are facing communication challenges, EFCT will be a beacon of hope for your relationship repair. The therapist helps couples or spouses break the negative cycle by connecting the emotions (threads) and unspoken thoughts of both parties and re-establishing trust and secure attachment.
Hypnosis
Hypnosis can mostly be used to reduce emotions and pain distress, but not completely eliminate them. Symptoms and phenomena that can be helped are as follows: stress, smoking cessation, weight loss, pain management, depression, anxiety, sleep improvement, goal setting, interpersonal relationships, self-control, traumatic experiences, etc.
Narrative
Recording life through narrative techniques (deconstructing life and then reconstructing life) helps people understand and readjust the context of their self-narratives, that is, to look at problems in life in a different way, rediscover the beauty and value in life, and thus bring about active and positive changes.
Psychological Drama
Help people explore their feelings, behaviors and experiences through acting, role-playing and observing others in the group doing the same thing. Allowing people to recreate their own experiences, create new personal insights into problems, thereby increasing self-confidence, strengthening and learning how to interact with the world (family, society). It is also an effective way to heal trauma.
Cognitive behavioral therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy helps us to be aware of our thoughts, feelings and actions, to analyze difficulties clearly and respond effectively. It also encourages us to gradually implement it in our daily lives and learn to deal with it in a more positive manner. Cognitive behavioral therapy is usually used to treat anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and other problems.
